This Privacy Policy explains how AI Photo Enhancer ("we", "our", or "the app") handles your information. Please read it carefully before using the app.
1. Overview
AI Photo Enhancer is a photo collage maker with AI-powered photo enhancement. Your photos are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. The app shows ads, served by Google AdMob, and uses Firebase Crashlytics to help us detect and fix crashes — both are described in detail below.
2. Information We Access
2.1 Photos and Media
When you tap "Create Collage," the app requests access to your device's photo library so you can select images. The app:
- Reads only the photos you explicitly choose via the system image picker.
- Processes and enhances photos locally on your device — photos are not uploaded to any server we operate.
- Does not scan or access photos automatically in the background.
2.2 Local Storage
The app saves collage files (PNG images) and their metadata (layout type, creation date, file paths) to a local database (Hive) on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete a collage inside the app or uninstall the app.
2.3 Advertising and Diagnostic Data
To keep the app free, we show ads via Google AdMob, and we use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash and diagnostic reports. See section 5 for what these third-party services collect.

We request only the permissions necessary for core functionality. Permissions are requested at runtime; you may deny photo access, though the app's collage features will not work without it.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Aside from the advertising and crash reporting described below, the only time your photo data leaves your device is when you explicitly tap the "Share" button, which hands the collage image to your device's native share sheet (e.g., to send via WhatsApp, email, etc.). We have no control over how third-party apps handle data you share through the native share sheet.
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display ads in the app. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (such as your Advertising ID), approximate location, and app usage data to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device's ad settings (Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"). 5.2 Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to automatically collect crash reports and basic diagnostic data (such as device model, OS version, and app version) so we can identify and fix bugs. This data does not include your photos. See Firebase's Privacy and Security policy.
5.3 What we do not do
We do not integrate social login, account systems, or cloud photo storage. Your photos and collages are never uploaded to any server we operate.
6. Children's Privacy
AI Photo Enhancer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads shown in the app are not configured for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address the issue.
7. Data Security
Your photos and collages remain on your device and are never transmitted by us. The security of that data depends on your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We strongly recommend keeping your device up to date and secured with a PIN or biometric lock.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
- Delete a collage: Tap the delete icon on any collage card in the dashboard. The record is removed from the local database immediately.
- Delete all data: Uninstalling the app removes all app data, including the Hive database and any collage files stored in the app's directories.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
